Vanaya Scott Obituary BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA — The Baton Rouge community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Vanaya Scott, who died unexpectedly this week, leaving family, friends and neighbors mourning the loss of a cherished young life.
Scott, 22, was known throughout her community for her warmth, kindness and generous spirit. A graduate of Baton Rouge Magnet High School, she had recently completed her studies and was pursuing her career aspirations while remaining deeply involved in local volunteer efforts and community outreach.
“Vanaya lit up every room she entered,” said a close friend. “She always had a smile, a kind word and someone’s back. Baton Rouge has lost a beautiful soul.”
Family members described Scott as a devoted daughter, beloved sister and loyal friend whose laughter and joy were constant sources of comfort to those closest to her.
